The recreation area Ostallgaeu can be easily reached by car via the Autobahn A 7, a highway crossing Germany from North to South and ending approximately 10 Miles northwest of Fuessen. By train, Fuessen can be approached along the main railway track from Munich to Zurich/Switzerland and changing trains at Kaufbeuren, following a very scenic track through Bavarian homelands to Fuessen. International flight connections exist to nearby Munich Intnl.Airport, Zurich Intnl, Stuttgart Intnl., Innsbruck Intnl. The closest regional airports are Friedrichshafen and Augsburg airport.
